Top 7 High-Traffic Classified Ad Web Sites For Traffic & Potential Backlinks

Here are the top seven high traffic sites that you may want to consider as you plan your promotional strategy.

Some argue that…

The page rank of your website can be increased through the use of high-traffic classified ad websites like CraigsList.org and others. The search engines scan these and you can post information including links to your website for free. It’s a great opportunity to promote your website at little or no cost.

While I agree with the later statement.. “Its a great opportunity to promote your website at little or no cost”. I have reservations around the first statement on how backlinks from these sites will increase your page rank.

Its true that the number of back links do play a role in determining the page rank of a site. But not all of these classified sites are passing link value, again make sure to test them yourself, may be there is some validity in the above statement. Glad to be proven wrong on this one…:)-

Most of these sites have the option of paying a small fee for preferred placement that will place you at the top of the category. Place your keyword in your title and use the keyword at least ten times in the copy of the ad.
