Hello this is srinisaripalli and I welcome you to Gorichonline.com and on today on the tip of day video I want to share with you a quick strategy , a quick technique around- you know- how you can became successful on social media sites. By social media sites I mean myspace, twitter, viddler and facebook all those kinds of sites how can you became successful and there are so many techniques and strategies but then again I kind of categorize them into four areas and I created a small little presentation for you, right after this video . Ingredients for successful Social Media Marketing.

Let Me walk you through and show you the four critical elements or the four critical principles for Success Social Media Marketing. Now there are different strategies, different techniques but what I am going to share with you is primarily the 4 principles that worked for me and I am pretty sure they are going to work for you and not only work for you, they are really going to deliver results for you. So let’s talk about them again. These are the four principles that worked for me and I kind of went through tons of them this is how strategically I can break them into four areas.

BE A FRIEND. A very powerful concept . Net working should be about being genuine and being an authentic person. In other words being a friend . That is the bottom line. Try to become someone or be someone whom people can trust. There is one more level to this. If you can become someone, whom your competitors can trust and respect and as an honest authority or an honest person , that is more than expected.

I mean if you can do that, that is going to create more results for you. That is going to create more success for you. If you want to scheme some evil things and display harsh or unsympathetic attitude towards your friends or towards your people then – you know- failure is a must. Be sure to spread friendship and be nice to a variety of people.

Even ones at the bottom that you really don’t care, you really don’t need them probably but be genuine to them, be nice to them, be sympathetic to them and your generosity will be remembered. That’s is the basic principle. That’s #1. Be a friend. That is the whole philosophy behind the Social Media Site. So that being said, just to give you an idea just don’t sign up on ‘myspace’ or ‘facebook’ with dummy account and don’t send scribbled usernames that are hard to remember.

If you are Jhon smith signup as Jhon smith. Let the world know that you are Jhon smith. Right? Just don’t do that mistake. Don’t be anonymous. If your name sounds anonymous, you are anonymous.

PLAN OUT YOUR GOALS: It is very critical one. Now what I mean by planning out I your goals is just don’t mindlessly join groups . It is completely worthless. Always ask yourself what your goals are and participate in the new group.


Some people may be held because they are continuing some education and others may be around because they want to be there because if some new opportunities will show up they want to make connections and explore new business opportunities.

I mean having an ulterior motive - not a good idea . But realizing the advantages of your surroundings is the mark of a professional . That is the bottom line. So you got to be aware of your surroundings.

ASK SMART QUESTIONS :Ask smart questions if you can. Don’t try to prove your philosophy . Don’t try to ask questions that are pointless . You feel free to ask open ended questions . When I mean open ended questions I mean ideas that would involve specifics- you know- open ended questions should be specific. When knowledgeable people are asked to explain upon a basic idea, they usually go off into a variety of directions . That is a golden opportunity for learning and making lasting business friendships. So ask smart questions.

FOLLOW UP ON REFERRALS RIGHT AWAY.When you are given a referral you got a follow up right away. That’s the bottom-line. Not only must you quickly take an advantage of new opportunity , letting it lie for a while is just kills the interest and you also reflecting in the person who gave you the referral in the first place. reat the situation with proper decorum and act quickly and efficiently.

So these are the four things that I found out in my pursuits on social media marketing and networking. And there are again so many different strategies around this but again I believe that these 4 areas you know- categorically take everything that is there and you can – a kind of – put them in these 4 categories and you make these 4categories as your principles and live by them. So that’s about it.

    Hi Srini,

    I appreciated this video because I am just in a place where I was questioning why I would want to go in and create a better profile on a certain networking site.
    It seems that a lot of the people on this particular site are already doing what I am doing(in the type of business that I am). When I went into the tab where it says groups , when I went to different people’s groups most if not all were all little commercials for their business opportunities.
    I was quite turned off by this and increasingly didn’t see the point as to why I would network with people that are just going to be pitching me on their thing.
    What I constantly struggle with for myself , is how do I create value for others?
    What do I have to offer?
    When I go into an environment like that , it doesn’t seem as such a big concern for others.
    It is just about selling.
    I liked what you said about thinking about why I would join a certain group.
    Knowing why you are doing things ,instead of just doing them is half the battle I feel.
