Pay Per Play

The world of internet marketing is one that is truly unique and always evolving. Every time it is assumed that all concepts have been developed someone comes up with something new that puts the internet world in a state of flux.

A year or so ago the concept of paid blogging became all the rage as people who were earning minute incomes from their blog were now pulling in thousands of dollars a month. Now, there is a brilliant new concept and it is called “Pay to Play.”

For those not familiar with this concept is it simply an audio add that plays over a website. Every few minutes a new audio commercial will play. Of course, every time one of these items plays the host of the website will earn income. Best of all, the code for these pay to play services are free and the income is all drawn from standard affiliate revenue sharing.

Now, this does not mean anyone will become rich with it over night. This type of advertising is basically in the infancy stages and that means the income to earn from it is not what it could totally be yet. This should not come as a surprise since anything in the early stages will need a growth period in order to succeed. But this should not come as a surprise.

Ebay was not a success overnight and now it is a multi million dollar a year company. Of course, Ebay did everything right mostly every step of the way over an extended period of time. Again, this is not about making a ton of money over night. It is about getting involved in a solid business concept that will deliver solid returns.

Some, however, have said that audio ads on the internet are “annoying” and it will drive visitors away. Well, if people didn’t want to hear audio ads radio would have died out decades ago! The reality of the matter is that if a website or blog is a solid enough blog then it will keep its audience.

So, don’t fret with the nay sayers. Instead, make your website or blog the best it can be and then add the very excellent audio to it. It is as simple as that.

Well, maybe it isn’t so simple as you need to put in a lot of effort but the effort will pay for itself.
