Your are correct, blog brodcast is another way to aggregrate content and send it out the list.

As an email marketer one has to be careful with this, if they have blogbroadcast turned on, it could be in a way conflicting becasue the the same subscriber will get the same content twice. 

Many smart marketers think the same message will arrive twice to the same subscriber in a time interval, increasing the chances of conversion. Talk about touch points :)-

I confess to never having used this method.  I do however use Aweber for my email autoresponder service and you can now do a blog broadcast.  Once you publish your blog post, it will either automatically send the post to your list (if you set it to auto) or, if you set it to manual, once you&#039;ve published your blog post, log into Aweber and click publish for that particular broadcast.

I do like this idea though,
